Private Equity Vs. Public Equity
The Owebama campaign team wants Americans to focus on Mitt Romney's involvement with Bain Capital. Bain Capital was a private equity firm that invested in or outright purchased small companies with growth potential and failing companies with potential for growth. Bain Capital was started by Mitt Romney and several other partners in the 1980's and continues to be profitable today.

Private equity means that private citizens agreed to invest their money in Bain Capital.

Perhaps someone should focus on the guy that uses public money (money taken by the US Government from private citizens which is suppose to be used for the benefit of Americans) to invest in or take over private companies tied to campaign contributions and friends.

Barack Hussein Obama has "invested" public equity for numerous private companies that not only didn't create the jobs touted as the reason for the investment, but eventually failed.

A private equity company is just that - private. Its investors make the decision to invest their own money. Public equity (or government money)is a matter of simply taking from one group and giving to another group.
