Barack Hussein Owebama is Just Quoting with Misquote
![]() Owebama pandered to a group of students yesterday, saying that he was just quoting a GOP Congresswoman.
She said she had 'very little tolerance for people who tell me they graduate with debt because theres no reason for that.' I'm just quoting here, Im just quoting. What Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) really said was: "I have very little tolerance for people who tell me that they graduate with $200,000 of debt or even $80,000 of debt because theres no reason for that, Foxx continued. We live in an opportunity society and people are forgetting that. I remind folks all the time that the Declaration of Independence says 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.' You dont sit on your butt and have it dumped in your lap."Note that Foxx is saying one can get a less expensive education and doesn't have to rack up $80,000 to $200,000 if they make less expensive choices and perhaps also choose to work and save during their education. But Owebama has to read a misquote to make Foxx look bad instead of recognizing her point. The other point is that indeed some Americans get the idea that they've been promised an easy life on the backs of others instead of understanding that the US Constitution merely provides that every individual has the right to pursue happiness, but it comes with a cost. Final note to Owebama: Just because you read something someone wrote for you on a piece of paper doesn't mean you are actually quoting a third person. ![]() ![]() Post A Comment Comments are Moderated
