First there was an objection to "illegal alien" to describe those who cross the US border and stay in the USA. So, over time, they became "illegals". Now Monica Novoa, who once admitted her family crossed illegal into CA through a torn fence, tells Bill O'Reilly that "illegals" is a racist word, therefore should be dropped.

Racist seems to be an easy word to throw around these days. We aren't choosing to call all Latinos "illegals", only those people (Latinos and other nationalities)that cross our borders illegally. What word would Ms. Novoa like for us to use? "Undocumented workers" is more incorrect than "illegal" since not all illegals are workers.
